  • NBCC San Jose Campus 72 North 5th Street San Jose, CA, 95112 (map)

Join us for our very first Connecting In Person event at the movies! We’ll be gathering for a Sunday afternoon matinee showing of:

PAUL’S PROMISE

Rated PG | 1 hr 34 min

Sun, Nov 20 | 1:30 PM
San Jose Campus
72 N. 5th Street, San Jose, CA

Synopsis: Set in the peak of the 1960s Civil Rights movement, “Paul's Promise” is the inspiring true story of Paul Holderfield, former racist firefighter-turned-pastor who started one of the first integrated churches in the American South. It’s one man’s journey to hope and healing during a troubled time in our Nation’s history that resulted in one man’s decision to serve God and stand up to injustice - a story that continues to make a huge impact on the community to this day.

Popcorn, candy and beverages will be provided. You’re welcome to bring your own movie treats as well! This event is FREE but please RSVP below by Nov 18 so we can plan to have enough refreshments for everyone.
