What is the role of a Jesus follower in this divided and polarized season?

Pastor Hurmon reminds us that we are to remember that our ultimate trust is in God and that we are inextricably connected to our neighbors.

It is through this connection with others and our awareness of our own stories that we are to connect and empathize with others. As we lay down our labels for those who are not like us and love them unconditionally and extravagantly, we gain the ability to build ridges between people who were once divided even while we express ours own political beliefs and convictions.
