Building Bridges Across Our Differences

The Jesus Way (TJW) is built on seven simple practices modeled in the life of Jesus, helping us relate to others with both conviction and compassion. In a divided world, it invites us into a better way of engaging people across our differences. It shapes us into people who hold our beliefs with humility, extend grace freely, and stay connected even when we don’t agree.

What is Awana?

Awana is a world-wide ministry that reaches millions of kids with the gospel of Christ. It stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, derived from 2 Timothy 2:15, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

Our heart and desire is to teach our children to accept the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ as their own, stand firm in their faith through the Word and be the light to the world around them, both locally and globally. We do this through structured training in the Word as well as fun and laughter.

NBCC Awana Club meets on Fridays at 7- 8:30 PM PT throughout the school year in September through May and offer 3 age groups.
