Do you want to better understand the realities of poverty in the Bay Area? Are you looking to join others who are passionate about sharing God's love and making a real impact in our local communities? Many Christians in Silicon Valley feel called to serve, but aren't sure where to start. What's needed now is for churches to come together with a shared vision to serve low-income neighborhoods with lasting impact.

That's why NBCC's Transforming Communities is partnering with the Coalition Alleviating Poverty-Silicon Valley (CAP-SV) to focus on our local mission field in North Fair Oaks (Redwood City).

We're inviting you to join a four-week course, alongside believers from other churches, to explore:

  • The realities of material poverty in our region
  • A biblical model for addressing poverty
  • Real-life stories and strategies from Bay Area leaders
  • Practical steps for unified, community-based service

Classes are free, but we ask that you commit to attending all four sessions and be part of the NBCC group as we learn and grow together. After the course, you'll have the opportunity to consider joining our Transforming Communities team to continue the work of serving and loving our neighbors.

If you're interested in attending and representing NBCC with our group, please email Christina Alo at calo@nbccbayarea.com to register.

DATE: Thursdays, Now – Sep 4
TIME: 7 – 9 PM PT
LOCATION: Bridge City Church, 468 Grand St, Redwood City, CA 94062

Please email Christina Alo at calo@nbccbayarea.com to register.
