Join us for a special outreach event as we partner with CIC Ministries and the Service League for a Clothing & Hygiene Kit Drive! We’re collecting new or gently used men’s and women’s clothing and shoes of all sizes to support individuals being released from incarceration.

When individuals are released from incarceration, they often leave with little more than the clothes on their backs. To help meet these immediate needs, we are hosting a clothing and hygiene materials drive. Please bring all items to church on Sun, May 4 after our Worship Gathering. We will serve together by sorting items, boxing them up for each partner, and writing cards of encouragement. Lunch will be served!

Clothing Donations
We are accepting gently used or new clothing for both men and women. PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accept items that are worn out, have holes, tears, or are overly dingy. Any such items will be returned. Examples of needed clothing items:

  • Men’s socks, sweatpants, t-shirts, sweaters
  • Women’s t-shirts, sweatpants, socks, flip-flop sandals, sneakers (no heels)

Reading Materials

  • Paperback books (no hardcovers):
    • Languages: English, Spanish, Vietnamese
    • Genres: Fiction, self-help, non-fiction (especially history)
  • Magazines:

  • Grief devotionals (e.g., *Jesus Calling* – paperback)
  • Paperback Bibles:

Writing & Encouragement

You can also contribute by purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List for hygiene kits.

This event will replace our usual 1st Sunday community lunch — but don’t worry, lunch will still be provided as we come together to serve with purpose and compassion!

If you have any questions, please contact Christina Alo at calo@nbccbayarea.com.
