Live The Jesus Way by serving our neighbors with kindness, empathy, and generosity.
Join NBCC as we put The Jesus Way into practice by serving our unhoused neighbors alongside Street Life Ministries on the 4th Tuesday of every month. This outreach is about more than providing a hot meal—it’s an opportunity to practice kindness, lead with radical empathy, offer life-giving generosity, and break the power of labels by seeing every person as created in the image of God.
Together, we’ll share a meal, offer encouragement, build genuine relationships, and create a welcoming environment where our neighbors feel seen, valued, and loved. Each outreach includes a brief message of hope, warm hospitality, and practical care.
🗓️ Aug 25 – Dec 22 (Every 4th Tuesday of the Month)
FOOD PREPARATION: 5 – 7 PM
📍 Peninsula Covenant Church (PCC), 3560 Farm Hill Blvd., Redwood City, CA
MEAL SERVICE: 7 – 9 PM
📍 Menlo Park Train Station, 1120 Merrill Street, Menlo Park, CA
We need approximately 6 volunteers each month and are building a team of 10+ volunteers who can rotate throughout the year.
No special experience is necessary. Minimal training is provided—all you need is a heart to serve and a willingness to share God's love with others. Whether you’re preparing food, serving a meal, listening to someone’s story, or simply offering a smile, your presence can make a lasting impact.
Come live The Jesus Way with us—one meal, one conversation, and one act of kindness at a time.
