Heavenly Father,

We thank you for your steadfast love and for being a present help in trouble. We come before you today lifting up everyone impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton and their aftermath. Please heal and sustain the injured and empower the medical professionals working to restore them to health. Please comfort those who have lost loved ones and give hope to those who have lost their homes in this disaster. Please heal every traumatized heart and comfort every anxious soul with your peace.

We ask that you bless and protect the first responders and aid workers who put themselves in danger to help others. Please enable searchers to swiftly locate and assist those who are still missing. Speed the efforts of those bringing food, shelter, medicine, and other necessities to those in the path of the storm.

Lord, we pray for the strength, the will, and the resources to rebuild and that you move us all with compassion to help where and how we can. Please show your delivering power, so that even in this time of disaster and loss, your mercy and grace may prevail.
