For Maria Rubio Mendoza and her family, finding a home in the Bay Area meant making a difficult decision: move farther away for more affordable housing or stay rooted in the church community they’ve called home for 10 years. When they learned NBCC was coming to Redwood City, it gave their family a way to pursue a new home while remaining connected to a church where they serve, worship, and have found deep community.
