Most of us have driven past someone experiencing homelessness and felt two things at once: We should do something—but we’re not sure what.
That’s exactly who this training is for.
Starting Thur, Sep 10, we are hosting Dwell, a 4-week training created by CAP-SV (Coalition Alleviating Poverty in Silicon Valley) for people who want to walk alongside neighbors moving out of homelessness. Dwell is practical, honest about the challenges, and designed for anyone—no experience required.
Each 90-minute session includes video teaching, table conversations, and opportunities to practice. Between sessions, you’ll have one short video, one Scripture, and one simple step to try.
Finishing the training does not sign you up for anything. If you want to keep going, there are clear ways to serve at transitional housing sites—leading a Bible study, coordinating a site team, distributing blessing bags, praying, or helping with events.
You pick what fits, and you’re never sent anywhere alone.
We’re not asking you to fix anything. We’re asking you to show up—and we’ll teach you how.
