In a time where we have been asked to sacrifice our ability to do what we want and go where we please so that we can preserve our own health and the health of others, it may be difficult to feel freedom as we often define it. However, the Church finds its freedom not in our own human abilities, but in Christ. A Christ centered freedom is not just freedom from oppression or constraints, but is a freedom for the purposes of God. True freedom is the ability to say “yes” to God and fulfill his purpose for our lives. The first step to saying yes to God is to realize how much He loves us.
