Help! I Keep Messing Up

As we continue our Flawed Follower series, and welcome our newest members of NBCC, Pastor Hurmon reminds us about the loving grace that God offers to all believers despite the challenges we face in living up to the perfect love and character that Jesus models for us. The message today reminds us that even the most faithful followers, like the apostle Peter, struggle and make mistakes. But the good news is that Jesus does not reject us because of our flaws — in fact, he chooses us and encourages our potential for growth and transformation, through his redemptive power and grace. If you're wrestling with feelings of unworthiness or thinking your mistakes have disqualified you, take heart. Jesus sees your struggle and longs to draw you closer, offering grace, forgiveness and the support of a compassionate community.
