Specialized Initiatives

Create a welcoming environment through food, worship, and fellowship. Volunteers help build community and offer encouragement and care to individuals and families in need.

Roles:

• Hospitality Volunteer – help serve meals and create a welcoming environment
• Setup/Breakdown Volunteer – assist with event setup and cleanup
• Community Engagement Volunteer – connect with families and offer encouragement

Safety Team Volunteer – help ensure a safe and secure environment for all participants

Serve by providing compassionate listening and facilitated conversations in safe spaces focused on emotional healing, restoration, and hope for those processing trauma.

Roles: 

• Community Companions – Peer volunteers (trauma survivors) who offer empathetic listening and support
• Artist – Fosters emotional expression through creative mediums such as music, dance, and poetry

Hospitality – Manages the welcoming environment, including greeters and meal service

Use your organizational, creative, or strategic gifts to help plan and implement the 2026 Generosity Campaign. This team works to inspire generosity and maximize impact. Past campaigns include Be Rich to Others, Rejoicing and Reaching, and Be a Blessing.

Roles: 

• Campaign Planner – Help design overall outreach initiatives and strategies for the campaign
• Site Leader – Manage individual campaign sites and ensure smooth execution of activities
• Project Leader – Plan and oversee specific projects at each site, coordinating resources and volunteers
• Team Coordinator – Assist with setup and breakdown of projects and help manage volunteer assignments

Administrative / Logistics Support – Coordinate team tasks, materials, and overall campaign logistics

Bring hope, dignity, and spiritual support to incarcerated individuals through presence, prayer, and relationship-building within correctional facilities.

Roles: 

• Jail & Prison Ministry Volunteer – Serve in jails and prisons by leading Bible studies, facilitating worship or music ministry, or engaging one-on-one with incarcerated individuals. Volunteers may serve solo or as part of a team and participate in monthly debrief meetings to pray, share stories, and encourage one another.

Administrative / Support Volunteer – Help coordinate visits, materials, and communication with the ministry team
